It was amazing tour. Visiting this unique places , I got a lot of information about the
history of Qatar from smart guide Heitham ,he is professional. We learned not only the history ,additionally the tradition, industry and the interesting facts about Qatar.
I really liked the purple island with mangrove forest.
What we expected and more.

We were wanting to know something about Qatar and this was a good introduction. George, our guide, was knowledgeable and conducted a good tour. We enjoyed 3 entries at the restaurant lunch. We had an extra stop at a high tech dairy. A good experience for us.

We had an amazing day. Our guide, Prem, was a source of an abundance of information about modern day and historical Qatar. The tour included a beautiful lunch. Highly recommended!
Excellent tour, not only history

A must do tour when your in Doha. Qatar doesn't have a long history, so don't expect something like Egypt. Tour guide George is born for this job. You can ask him everything about Qatar (not only history), he's friendly and likes to talk a lot. You have to sit a lot in the car but that's normal for a dessert country.
A decent tour but overpriced

Being in Doha, I wanted to see more of Qatar. This company offered a range of tours around the peninsula. As a solo traveler, I did have some sticker shock in seeing the prices (which go down for each additional passenger). Nonetheless, I took the plunge and did the drive to the north of the country. The guide was very informative, pointing out sights in a relaxed manner and patiently answering questions.

The tour description mentioned "mangroves", suggesting that guests would go into these areas but we only saw them from a distance.

I asked the guide if it would be possible to pass by some other sites on the way back to Doha, including venues on some of other tours. He called his office and they said yes, but I would have to pay full price for another half-day tour. I was not pleased with this. I thought that I could at least get a small discount as I was already in the vehicle and we were only extending the tour by a couple of hours. While I was pleased I got to see what I did (camel farm and racetrack), I found the company rather greedy.
