What To Expect

The Corniche
The Corniche is a waterfront palm-fringed boulevard and twin carriageway that extends in a horseshoe shape and runs 7 km along the Doha Bay and the city's sea-front. Doha's skyline is breathtaking from every perspective, but the best photos of the metropolis are taken from Doha Corniche, the city's waterfront promenade. The Corniche, which has late-opening icons like the Museum of Islamic Art, is a favorite gathering place for people wanting to enjoy the chilly evenings.
Because of its family-friendly open areas, fine-dining restaurants, cruise cruises, and other amenities, the Corniche is also one of Doha's most popular tourist destinations. Set up your camera after sunset to capture the golden lights of the city's soaring buildings reflected off the lake.

Some notable government offices and international embassies are located in Doha's West Bay neighborhood. It is regarded as one of the most opulent areas in the city due to the presence of diplomats. Non-diplomats with a higher standard of life are given fewer dwelling areas. Large villas, residences, Qatar Towers, and West Bay flats are offered for rent to foreigners and locals. The West Bay Beach Doha is an upcoming project that will add more beaches for the tourists in the country. Combining 12 private beaches and a public beach, the project is looking forward to enhancing the charismatic beauty of Doha with an aesthetic sense.

Souq Waqif
A look at Doha's skyline reveals a sophisticated metropolis full with towering skyscrapers. However, a stroll through the passageways of Souq Waqif will take you back in time.It was established about 100 years ago. There are also beliefs that the market is older than two centuries. The renovations of the market began in 2006, which took about 2 years to complete. Historic Arab architectural wonders, quaint street merchants, and elegant restaurants line these lovely lanes. Souq Waqif comes to life at night when the heated day gives way to the chilly evening. You may buy local handicrafts, witness street performances, attend the falconry market, and visit art galleries here. We recommend spending several hours exploring the passageways surrounding Souq Waqif if you wish to broaden your cultural understanding.
